1.

The Bible tells us that all men need God’s forgiveness and salvation. It tells us that we have turned away from God who created us and that we often act and live a life in disharmony with the will of God.

聖經告訴我們，人人都需要神的寬恕和救恩，我們都已轉離創造我們的神，我們常常在生活 上與神的心意相違背

Romans 3:23

”for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”.

「因 為 世 人 都 犯 了 罪 、 虧 缺 了 神 的 榮 耀。」羅 馬 書3:23

If we turn to God and receive his salvation we will experience the greatest thing on earth; get saved and become children of God for the rest of our life on earth and for eternity. If we don’t turn to God and receive his salvation we will perish.

如果我們轉向神，接受祂的救恩，我們必會得到人生最妙經歷；你會得拯救及成為神的兒 女，又能承受永生。如果我們沒有轉向神，接受祂的救恩，我們便會滅亡。

Romans 6:23

”For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ”

「因為罪的工價乃是死 ． 惟有神的恩賜、在我們的主基督耶 穌裡、乃是永生。」羅馬書6:23

We should make up for our own sins ourselves, but God made an atonement of our sins when he sent Christ Jesus to the world.

我們理應自己彌補自己的罪，但神卻差遣耶穌基督到世界來救贖我們的罪。

Romans 5:8

”But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

「惟有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死、神的愛就在此 向我們顯明了。」羅馬書5:8

God did all this because he loved us and didn’t want us to be lost forever.

神如此行，因為祂愛我們，不願我們永遠失喪。

John 3:16

”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

「神愛世人、甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們、叫一切信他的、不 至滅亡、反得永生。」約翰福音3:16

To get saved means to begin with confessing all your sins. You say to God: God, I am sorry because I have sinned and I need your forgiveness. For Jesus sake, will you forgive me all the wrong I have done against you and against other people. The Bible then tells that God takes away all your sins.

要得救便要向神認罪。你要向神說：「神啊！我為我所犯的罪難過，求你饒恕。因耶穌的緣 故，求你赦免我曾得罪你和他人的所有過錯。」聖經說神會除去你所有的罪。

1.John 1:9

”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

「我們若認自己的罪、神是信實的、是公義的、必要赦免我們 的罪、洗淨我們一切的不義。」約翰一書 1:9

This is what it means to be born again: to leave behind our old life and begin a new life together with Jesus. To leave behind the old life also means to ask people for forgiveness if we have wronged them in any way.

重生的意思就是：將老我拋棄，與耶穌開始新生；將老我拋棄，也有要求我們向我們曾得罪 的人求饒恕的意思。

John 3:3

”Jesus declared, I tell you the truth, no-one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”

「耶穌回答說、我實實在在的告訴你、人若不重生、就不能見 神的國。」約翰福音3:3

When we receive Jesus as our Saviour and are born again we become children of God. God himself moves into our hearts through his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will help us to live as God’s children according to his will and purpose for our lives.

當我們接受耶穌作我們的救主，便得重生成為神的兒女。神藉聖靈住在我們心裏。聖靈會幫 助我們在人生中按照神的旨意和目的作神的兒女

John 1:12

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”

「凡接待他的、就是信他名的人、他就賜他們權柄、作神的 兒女。」約翰福音 1:12

2.Cor 5:5

”Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”

「為此培植我們的就是神、他又賜給我們聖靈作憑據。」

哥林多後書 5:5

But is there no other way to salvation? The Bible tells us that Jesus is the one and only Saviour.

還有其他方法得著救恩嗎？聖經告訴我們只有耶穌是獨一救主。

John 14; 6

”Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me.”

耶穌說 :「我就是道路、真理、生命 ． 若不藉著我、沒有人能 到父那裡去。」約翰福音14:6

The Bible also says that even if there are lots of big names in the history there is only one name, the name of Jesus, which leads man to salvation from sin.

聖經又說就算世界上有很多有名人士，但只有一個名字，就是耶穌之名，能領你脫離罪惡得 著救恩。

Acts 4:12

”Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

「除他以外、別無拯救 ． 因為在天下人間、沒有賜下別的名、我們可以靠著得救。」使徒行傳4：12

The salvation God gives us when we receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour is a salvation given by the grace of God and by his great love for us. It is a gift we can receive without having to do particular good deeds or pray special long prayers. We can come as we are.

當我們接受耶穌基督作救主時便會得著救恩，這救恩給與我們是因為神的恩典和他的大愛。我們無需做些什麼特別好的行為，或靠冗長的祈禱去得著這恩惠。我們只管照本相來見神。

Ephes 2:8-10

”For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no-one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

「你們得救是本乎恩、也因著信、這並不是出於自己、乃是 神所賜的 ．也不是出於行為、免得有人自誇。我 們 �­ 是 他 的 工 作 、 在 基 督 耶 穌 裡 造 成 的 、 為 要 叫 我 們行 善 、 就 是 神 所 預 備

叫 我 們 行 的 。」以 弗 所 書2:8-10

When you have done what has been suggested above, it is good if you tell your family, your friends and your colleagues at school or at work or where you live your life that you have been saved. In doing that you honour God and extend his Kingdom at the same time as you experience an inner peace and joy because you are a child of God. Read also the Bible and get to know Jesus.

當你照以上的建議行之後，最好去告訴你的家人，朋友和同事或鄰居們你已經得救了。你如 此行便是尊榮神又同時擴張神的國度，皆因你內心經驗的平安和喜樂，皆因你現在是神的孩 子。要多讀聖經去認識耶穌。

Romans 10:9-10

”if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and

are saved.

「你若口裡認耶穌為主、心裡信神叫他從死裡復活、就必得 救。因為人心裡相信、就可以稱義 ； 口裡承認、就可以得 救。」羅馬書10:9-10

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven,

he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church,

the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

The Lord’s prayer

Our father in heaven, hallowed by your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those, who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the Kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen.

When you have become a Christian it is important that you find a Christian church where you can have fellowship with other Christians. Find your way to a fellowship where Jesus Christ is at the centre and where you have an opportunity

to live out the Gospel in everyday life.
